For this project, I designed a series of three skateboard deck illustrations aimed at a target audience of kids, tweens, and professional skaters. The client wanted an edgy, eye-catching design without the use of text, typography, or geometric patterns. My concept tells the story of an epic battle between a great white shark and a giant squid, set in the deep ocean.
Each deck works individually, depicting dynamic scenes of the ongoing struggle, but when placed together, they form a cohesive narrative. The bold color palette and intense imagery are designed to capture attention and convey the energy and excitement of the underwater battle.
